As a Lifestyle Worker at our Social and Wellness Centre in Penrith, you’ll support older people, including those living with dementia, to live meaningful and connected lives. You’ll be welcomed into a compassionate, respectful and purpose-driven team where we don’t just talk about values – we live them.

Your opportunity

Penrith Location - Part time - Monday to Thursday (8am-4pm) - 30 hours per week

As a Lifestyle Worker, you’ll design and deliver recreational and lifestyle programs that support the holistic wellbeing of our clients. You’ll help create opportunities for fun, connection, and personal growth – while ensuring services are tailored to each person’s unique needs.

With empathy and creativity, you will:

  • Plan, deliver and evaluate lifestyle, leisure, learning, and spiritual activities that encourage participation and independence

  • Support clients to build community connections and live with confidence and dignity

  • Assist in client assessments and care planning, with a focus on strengths and holistic needs

  • Promote a Christian care approach and Anglicare’s Rhythm of Life principles in all client interactions

  • Collaborate with your team, undertake mandatory training (including dementia care), and contribute to continuous improvement and compliance

What you’ll bring

You are compassionate, creative, and passionate about supporting older people to live life to the fullest.

You will need:

  • Certificate III in Aged Care or willingness to obtain (desirable)

  • Certificate IV in Leisure & Health or willingness to obtain (desirable)

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in aged care

  • C Class driver’s licence (essential); LR Class licence if required

  • Registered and comprehensively insured motor vehicle
