About the Opportunity
Smart Cookies is looking for full-time Certificate III Educators based in Liverpool, NSW.
You will join a nurturing team focused on high-quality education, documentation, and critical reflection to support children’s development and ongoing vision for continuous improvement.
More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Supervising and engaging with children across age groups
- Participating in daily programming, planning, and reflection
- Contributing to documentation and compliance processes
- Supporting the centre through self-assessments and quality improvement
- Demonstrating knowledge of the EYLF and NQF frameworks
- Upholding the rights of all children and embedding paramount consideration
- Collaborating with your team to ensure a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment
About You
To qualify, you will need a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care, have at least 2+ years of workplace experience (placement-only experience does not meet requirements), and hold a current Working With Children Check, First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certification. These are permanent roles suitable for educators able to work consistently across 5 days per week. Applicants that do not meet our requirements or those who hold qualifications that are above Certificate III i.e. Diploma or ECT will not be contacted.
Additionally, the following skills and background will be highly valued:
- Experience in early childhood documentation and programming
- Involvement in Assessment & Rating preparation
- Strong understanding of EYLF and NQF frameworks
- Confidence in critical reflection and self-assessment
- Demonstrate commitment to child protection and child safety
- Capacity to step into or grow into a Room Leader role
