Housekeeping Trainer – Luxury Hotel (Sydney)

Empire Hospitality is seeking an experienced and passionate Housekeeping Trainer to support our 5‑star hotel partners across Sydney. This role is ideal for a hospitality professional who thrives on developing people, elevating service standards, and ensuring consistent, high‑quality housekeeping performance.

About the Role

As a Housekeeping Trainer, you will deliver structured training programs for Room Attendants, Housepersons, Public Area Attendants, and Supervisors. You will play a key role in onboarding, skills development, quality assurance, and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Training Delivery — Facilitate onboarding, refresher, and upskilling sessions across multiple hotel sites.
  • On‑Floor Coaching — Provide real‑time coaching, room inspections, and corrective guidance.
  • Competency Assessments — Conduct practical assessments and sign‑offs aligned with 5‑star brand standards.
  • Compliance & Safety — Train staff in WHS, manual handling, chemical safety, and infection control.
  • Documentation & Reporting — Maintain accurate training records, attendance logs, and improvement plans.
  • Quality Assurance Support — Assist with room audits, SOP compliance, and service recovery coaching.
  • Continuous Improvement — Identify training gaps and propose solutions to enhance performance.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 3 years Housekeeping Experience in a 4–5 star hotel.
  • Previous Training or Supervisory experience highly regarded.
  • Strong understanding of WHS, infection control, and luxury hotel brand standards.
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work across multiple hotel sites within Sydney CBD and surrounds.
