About the Role

Test Analyst – Regulatory Digital Platforms – Contract Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Test Analyst to support testing for a NSW Government agency.

This role will focus on the testing of complex regulatory digital solutions, including customer-facing platforms and integrated systems that support compliance, licensing, and operational activities. You will work closely with internal teams to ensure systems are robust, user-friendly, and free of defects, contributing to reliable service delivery across critical public-facing applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform functional system, system integration (SIT), regression and accessibility testing across digital platforms
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including coordination and defect resolution
• Develop and execute test plans, test cases and test scripts
• Conduct requirements analysis and contribute to test case design
• Execute testing activities and log, track, and manage defects through to resolution
• Provide test reporting and progress updates to stakeholders
• Validate data migration and system integrations
• Work within an Agile delivery environment, participating in stand-ups, sprint planning, showcases, and retrospectives
• Collaborate with Test Coordinators and cross-functional teams to ensure quality outcomes

About You

• Proven experience as a Test Analyst in complex enterprise or government environments
• Strong experience across ST, SIT, UAT, regression testing
• Experience working with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, TestRail or similar
• Exposure to integrated systems environments (APIs, finance systems, portals, mobile apps)
• Ability to develop and execute structured test plans and test cases
• Strong defect management and analytical skills
• Experience working in Agile delivery teams
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• High attention to detail and ability to manage fluctuating workloads
• A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and willingness to work in a dynamic, fast-moving program
