Our client is seeking an experienced Storeperson to join their Newcastle team on a casual basis with a permanent opportunity available for the right candidate.
You’ll support the day-to-day warehouse operations to help keep the branch running smoothly and efficiently.
The role involves receiving, storing, handling and dispatching goods as well as maintaining accurate stock levels and supporting internal and external stakeholders.
This role offers $35 per hour and requires a current forklift ticket.

Responsibilities
Receive, inspect, store, and distribute goods accurately and efficiently.
Check incoming stock against orders and report any issues or discrepancies.
Assist with inventory control and stock accuracy.
Support warehouse communication between sales, engineering, workshop staff, suppliers and customers.
Complete documentation in line with company policies and procedures.
Maintain a safe work environment and follow all WHS requirements.
Use computer-based systems and Microsoft Office and internal programs.
Your Profile
Previous experience in a storeperson, warehouse or similar operational role.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Understanding of supply chain, stock control or inventory processes.
Comfortable using computer systems for receipting, dispatch and general warehouse administration.
Current forklift licence essential.
Newcastle location.
Casual start with permanent opportunity for the right candidate.
$35 per hour.
