Your role
As Senior Project Officer, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of complex projects that support Court Services.
You will contribute to multiple initiatives, coordinate resources, develop and monitor project plans, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.
What you’ll do
You will join a small team of project management professionals that contribute valuable outcomes to court users, judicial officers, and a diverse range of stakeholders across the justice system.
You will also;
- Manage the delivery of complex projects from planning through to implementation and evaluation.
- Develop project plans, coordinate resources and support governance and reporting requirements.
- Monitor project performance, including risks, issues and benefits realisation.
- Build and maintain stakeholder relationships, managing communication and negotiations.
- Undertake research and provide advice and recommendations to support evidence-based decision making.
- Support and guide project team members to achieve milestones and deliver outcomes.
What we’re looking for
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, including influencing and negotiation.
- Demonstrated ability to manage project plans, risks, and reporting requirements.
- Understanding of project governance frameworks and methodologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience.

The Unit provides specialised expertise to develop and deliver integrated, consistent solutions and services across various court jurisdictions.
