Nourish Travel curates luxury, soul-filled retreats in extraordinary locations across Australia and
around the world. We collaborate with inspiring hosts, from media leaders and entrepreneurs to
chefs and wellness experts, to create unforgettable experiences centred on connection, creativity and rejuvenation.
As our retreat calendar expands, we are building a network of experienced Retreat Producers who can take ownership of individual retreats and bring them to life with calm precision and exceptional attention to detail.
The Role: Retreat Producer
As Retreat Producer, you are responsible for delivering one Nourish Travel retreat from
post-launch through to guest departure.
You take operational ownership of the retreat so the Founder can focus on creative direction, partnerships, marketing and host relationships.
You ensure every detail is thoughtfully executed and every moving part runs seamlessly behind the scenes.
This is a project-based contract role, engaged per retreat.
Scope of Responsibilities
Pre-Retreat Production
- Own all guest logistics from booking confirmation through to arrival
- Manage room allocations, dietary requirements, travel details and transfer coordination
- Build and manage detailed production timelines and run sheets
- Liaise directly with venues, suppliers, hosts and contractors
- Coordinate gifting, printed materials and retreat collateral
- Ensure booking forms, payments and guest data are complete and accurate
- Anticipate operational risks and proactively resolve issues
- Prepare final confirmation packs and on-site documentation
On-Site Delivery (if contracted to attend)
- Oversee bump-in and setup
- Act as primary operational lead during the retreat
- Coordinate venue teams and suppliers
- Support host requirements and schedule flow
- Troubleshoot calmly and professionally
- Ensure the guest experience feels effortless and beautifully executed
Post-Retreat
- Supplier reconciliation
- Debrief notes and operational improvements
- Guest feedback collation and summary reporting

- Hosts feel supported and confident
- The retreat runs smoothly and calmly
- Timelines are met without last-minute stress
- The Founder is not pulled into operational firefighting
Who This Role Is Perfect For
- Experienced event producer, retreat coordinator or hospitality professional
- Strong background in events, travel or premium guest experiences
- Confident communicator with venues and high-profile hosts
- Exceptionally organised and detail-oriented
- Calm under pressure and solution-focused
- Comfortable managing timelines, suppliers and moving parts
- Passionate about creating meaningful, high-touch experiences
Experience with tools such as Google Workspace, Notion, Canva, Airtable and booking systems
is helpful, but production capability and ownership mindset matter most.
Engagement Structure
- This role is engaged on an independent contractor basis
- The contractor is responsible for their own taxation, superannuation, insurance and any applicable registrations.
- Hours starting at approximately 20 hours per week. Workload and hours may vary depending on operational requirements.
- The scope of the role may evolve over time in line with the changing needs and growth of Nourish Travel.
