Senior Legal Counsel, Commercial

We are working with a global company that specialises in complex corporate advisory matters working closely with corporates, private capital and lenders in their search for a 12 month parental leave cover.

This role sits within a hands-on, collaborative and pragmatic legal team. They are respected and utilised well by the business providing broad legal support including exposure to jurisdictions across APAC.

You will report into the Head of Legal and work closely with the senior stakeholders of the business units to support them across their needs.

Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

• Drafting and negotiating a range of commercial agreements
• Advising on NDAs and confidentiality arrangements
• Supporting legal aspects of advisory and consulting engagements
• Providing day to day commercial advice
• Assisting with employment and HR related matters
• Supporting cross jurisdictional legal issues across APAC

Ideal Candidate

You will ideally have:

• 6+ years’ PAE in corporate or commercial law, gained in a law firm and in-house legal environment
• very strong interpersonal skills and communication skills with an ability to engage with senior stakeholders.
• an ability to thrive in fast paced environment
• ability to manage competing priorities across multiple matters
