What You Will Do

As Injury Management Coordinator, you will manage WorkCover claims and support employees through their return-to-work journey.

You will provide practical advice and help build safe and healthy workplaces across the department.

You Will

  • develop effective return-to-work plans for employees receiving WorkCover benefits
  • provide expert advice on injury management, OHS obligations and legal requirements
  • manage complex cases involving long-term incapacity and early intervention initiatives
  • identify meaningful trends and patterns to support injury prevention activities
  • maintain accurate records and contribute to safe workplace practices.

About You

You should have qualifications, experience or a willingness to obtain return to work qualifications. A current Employee Working with Children Check is required before you commence employment where work within Youth Justice facilities is required.

You Should Also Have

  • demonstrated experience supporting occupational rehabilitation and return to work outcomes
  • sound knowledge of WorkCover legislation and occupational health and safety principles
  • strong communication skills and confidence managing difficult conversations
  • effective problem-solving skills with a resilient and collaborative approach.
