Northern Health are seeking applications from motivated and suitably experienced Administration Officer to join the Outpatient Services team.
Northern Health is the major provider of acute, maternity, sub-acute, mental health, specialist, community and home-based services in Melbourne’s rapidly growing outer north.
Northern Hospital Epping, Broadmeadows Hospital, Bundoora Centre, Craigieburn and Mernda Community Hospitals Centres and Kilmore District Hospital. In addition, Mental Health Services are provided at Epping, Broadmeadows, Jacana, Preston, Mill Park, Mernda and Coburg.

Make a real impact in a fast‑paced, patient‑focused environment. Northern Health is seeking an organised and adaptable Administration Officer to support our outpatient clinics across multiple campuses.
We’re seeking an adaptable and multi‑skilled Administration Officer to provide high‑quality patient reception, telephone support and administrative services across Northern Health campuses.
This role is central to ensuring smooth, safe and efficient outpatient operations.
You will play a key role in delivering high‑quality patient reception and telephone support across Northern Health campuses.
In this role you will manage patient registrations, referral coordination, appointment scheduling, and the distribution of clinical correspondence.
You will maintain accurate records, supporting patients and caregivers with information needs, and ensuring smooth clinic operations by working closely with internal teams and external providers.
In this position you will also support telehealth services, rotates across business‑hour shifts ( 8:00am – 5:30pm, Monday to Friday), and requires strong adaptability, multitasking ability, and confidence using multiple digital systems.

- Strong Problem-Solving Skills & Attention to Detail – Able to think proactively, troubleshoot effectively, and maintain a high standard of accuracy in all tasks.
- Initiative & Ability to Work Autonomously – Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to take ownership of responsibilities and manage workloads independently.
