Senior Associate - Contaminated Land, join a nationally recognised environmental consultancy whose biggest challenge right now isn't winning work-it's delivering it.

Following significant growth over the last 18 months, the Sydney team is sitting on a portfolio of major infrastructure, government, energy and development projects that continues to expand.

The opportunities keep arriving, the clients keep returning, and the workload keeps growing.

This role exists because there is simply too much work for the current team to comfortably handle.

For an experienced contaminated land consultant sitting in that 10–14 year range, this is an opportunity to focus on what you're good at: delivering projects, leading teams, managing clients and solving complex contaminated land problems.

The business already has strong client relationships, a healthy pipeline and experienced leadership in place. They need another senior set of hands to help drive delivery.

The Role

You'll sit just below Principal level, taking ownership of major contaminated land projects across NSW and the wider East Coast.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing project delivery from proposal through to completion
• Preparing tenders, fee proposals and technical reports
• Leading field teams, subcontractors and drilling programs
• Managing client relationships and project budgets
• Mentoring junior consultants and project managers
• Delivering contaminated land investigations, remediation and validation projects
• Supporting complex tender advisory work for major infrastructure contractors

Project exposure includes:

• Major motorway and transport infrastructure projects
• Light rail developments
• Airport infrastructure programs
• Defence projects
• Fuel and petroleum portfolios
• Government and local council programs
• Tier 1 contractor advisory services
• Major development and industrial projects

Many of these projects are the sort that look impressive on a CV and provide long-term security for the team delivering them.

What You'll Bring

• Approximately 10–14+ years' experience in contaminated land consulting
• Strong project management and delivery capability
• Experience preparing tenders and fee proposals
• Ability to manage clients confidently and independently
• Experience leading field teams and mentoring junior staff
• Strong technical reporting and review skills
• Australian consulting experience essential

Salary package up to $175,000 including superannuation.
