Business Analyst - Digital

The Opportunity – 24 Month fixed term contract:

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst who will support solution design and technical alignment for system integrations within our Customer Transformation Program - a strategic initiative focused on modernizing core customer platforms, enhancing digital channels, and streamlining business processes ushering in a more modern way of working. Responsibilities included:

  • Lead the analysis and documentation of business requirements, user stories, and process flows related to system integrations and data exchanges.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams — including architects, developers, testers, and business stakeholders — to ensure integration solutions meet business needs and technical standards.
  • Map and document data flows between core platforms, identifying dependencies, gaps, and opportunities for optimisation.
  • Facilitate workshops and discovery sessions to gather requirements and validate integration designs and interface specifications.
  • Support testing and validation of integrated systems by defining acceptance criteria, reviewing test cases, and assisting with defect triage.
  • Provide clear traceability between business requirements, integration designs, and delivered outcomes, ensuring alignment with the broader Customer Transformation roadmap.

You will have most of the following experience:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Information Systems, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA) highly regarded.
  • Deep experience with digital channels and core customer platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex business and system requirements into clear documentation for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst on system integrations (API, data flows, cloud environments etc.)
  • Experience in agile and/or hybrid delivery environments, with strong facilitation and requirements management skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with confidence in presenting to senior leadership and governance forums.
  • Experience with major corporate transformations (desirable).
  • Experience within utilities/energy industry (desirable).
