About Our Client

Our client is a successful, privately owned human services provider. Headquartered in Perth, it currently has annual revenues circa $110 million.

About This Role

This is a unique hands-on CFO role, based in a small corporate head office team of 25. It is tasked with providing strategic and operational financial leadership, whilst working closely with this company’s CEO and Board.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Partnering with the CEO to develop and execute financial strategies.
• Leading annual budgeting, long-term financial planning, modelling and forecasting.
• Translating data into actionable insights.
• Financial and management reporting for internal and external stakeholders.
• Overseeing relationships with external auditors and tax advisors.
• Implementing robust financial controls, reporting systems and risk management frameworks.

About You

You will be a proactive, empathetic and hands-on accounting professional who will thrive on the opportunity of working closely with the CEO, Owners and Board as this company continues to grow its footprint across Australia. It is envisaged you will have:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics or business administration.
• CPA or CA accreditation (essential); MBA or post graduate qualification (desirable).
• Extensive experience in previous senior financial leadership roles.
• Experience in aged care, health or human services sectors, whilst not essential, will be highly regarded.
• Strong Excel skills and experience maximising accounting and financial systems and processes.
• Excellent communication, leadership and analytical skills.
