The Opportunity

Reporting to the Senior Accountant, you'll join a finance team supporting a regional portfolio of projects valued in excess of $2 billion. This role offers broad exposure across financial reporting, project accounting and business partnering, making it an excellent opportunity for an Accountant looking to build a career within a major project environment.

Financial Reporting & Controls

• Deliver month-end reporting, reconciliations and regional reporting packs
• Manage journals, accruals and general ledger integrity
• Support BAS, FBT and other statutory reporting requirements
• Ensure reporting deadlines are met accurately and on time

Project & Commercial Support

• Partner with project teams to provide financial guidance and commercial support
• Manage client invoicing, payment tracking and project banking processes
• Support compliance requirements across active projects
• Assist site teams with financial systems, reporting and processes

Business Partnering & Improvement

• Work closely with regional leadership and key project stakeholders
• Provide financial insights to support operational decision-making
• Contribute to continuous improvement across systems and reporting processes
• Support onboarding, training and adoption of finance procedures

About You

• Degree qualified in Accounting or Finance
• CPA/CA qualified or currently progressing towards completion
• Previous accounting experience within a commercial environment
• Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
• Able to work autonomously while contributing to a broader team
