About the role

We are looking for a Customer Service Officer to join our WA team based at our Rivervale Store Support Centre on a 6-month contract.

This role operates Monday to Friday and reports directly to the Workflow Coordinator in your state’s support office. As a CSO within the Customer Support Team, you’ll work onsite three days a week, with the flexibility to work from home for the remaining two days. A work laptop will be provided to support both onsite and remote working.

As a trusted partner, you’ll generate sales from warm leads provided by our Frame & Truss team and deliver timely, accurate quotes to support our account management teams. You’ll provide exceptional customer service and product advice, ensuring accurate order entry, pricing, and information at every touchpoint.

Working within our CRM system, you’ll help keep interactions streamlined and efficient. With a continuous improvement mindset, you’ll listen to and act on customer feedback to strengthen relationships and drive retention. What’s involved

  • Processing purchase orders for our customers
  • Providing accurate and timely quotes
  • Managing incoming and outgoing communications (phone and email)
  • Assisting with inventory checks
  • Acting as a conduit between customer service teams and order fulfilment sites
  • Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders
  • Supporting accurate order processing for account management teams
  • Working within CRM systems to ensure all customer interactions are captured in one place
  • Listening to and acting on customer feedback to improve the overall customer experience

Who we’re looking for

As a Customer Service Officer, you’ll be a motivated individual with a passion for delivering a great customer experience. You’ll bring previous experience working with COS (or similar systems), along with strong communication and problem-solving skills.

You’re someone who can juggle multiple priorities, manage your time effectively, and consistently deliver against KPIs while exceeding customer expectations.

You’ll need

  • Previous experience in a customer service, sales support or order processing role
  • Confidence working with systems such as COS, CRM platforms or similar
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and internal stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities with accuracy
  • A customer-first mindset with a focus on delivering timely and high-quality outcome
  • High attention to detail, particularly when managing orders, pricing and customer information
  • A proactive approach and willingness to learn
  • A genuine desire to contribute to a positive team culture
