About The Role
The Health Promotion Coordinator will lead the planning, delivery, and evaluation of evidence-based health promotion initiatives aligned with team priorities. Working closely with stakeholders and communities, the role supports policy development and advocacy at local and state levels. This position combines project management with leadership responsibilities, including supporting and supervising staff, students, and volunteers delivering prevention programs.

Your Duties Include
- Plan, implement, and evaluate health promotion initiatives aligned with organisational priorities, strategy, and relevant policy frameworks.
- Coordinate and deliver projects of moderate to high complexity, including setting priorities, timelines, and approaches.
- Develop and apply evaluation frameworks, including program logic and outcomes measurement, and meet reporting and funding requirements.
- Manage budgets, track expenditure, and support financial acquittals for programs and grants.
- Lead and support staff, students, and volunteers, including supervision, performance feedback, and professional development.
- Collaborate effectively within a high-performing team, manage competing priorities, and deliver outcomes against KPIs and targets.

Our Ideal Candidate
- A tertiary qualification in health promotion, community development, public health, or relevant field
- Demonstrated experience in health promotion practice and project management using primary prevention approaches
- Experience relevant to any of the five health promotion focus areas in cohealth Health Promotion Strategy 2025-29
- Proven ability to lead staff and oversee budgeting, data collection and reporting practices.
