About the Role
As the Personal Care Worker Team Leader, you will direct and lead a team of Personal Care Workers and ensure they deliver high-quality care to Bolton Clarke customers in their homes. You will oversee a region of Personal Care Workers, serve as a point of contact for resolving operational issues and mentor, coach, and direct the team to deliver exceptional customer service for At Home Support customers across multiple sites. You will collaborate with Local Area Managers and Operations Team Leader to optimise operational systems and process and build connections within the aged care sector.
Responsibilities include:
- Leads, supervises and supports a team of Personal Care Workers, ensures they adhere to best practices, Bolton Clarke's values and Code of Conduct while delivering high-quality care.
- Leads the recruitment, selection, development, and management of staff, mentors Personal Care Workers and identifies opportunities for professional development.
- Ensures the team safety, health and well-being and drives quality improvement and monitoring.
- Manages administrative tasks related to the role, coordinates with the scheduling team to ensure service delivery and achieve optimum utilisation.
About You
To be successful in this role, our preferred candidate will have:
- Certificate IV in Individual Support (Ageing); or currently studying a Diploma of Nursing or Bachelor of Nursing with the completion of a successful clinical placement; or equivalent.
- Completion of Administer and Monitor Medications (HLTHPF007), and/or Provide Support to People Living with Dementia (CHCAGE005), and/or Deliver Care Services Using a Palliative Approach (CHCPAL003) is prescribed.
- Moderate work experience post Certification IV in providing support to people living with Dementia and moderate experience in a leadership role in aged care is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Person-Centered Practice, Personal Care Policies and Procedures and Personal Care Quality Management Framework.
- Proficient in Business Development, Records Management and Case Management skills.
- Excellent Communication, Problem-Solving, Customer experience and Cross-Functional Team Working skills.
