General VA ( Tech - Savvy)
The Doing Co
The Position
We're looking for a proactive, tech-savvy General VA for an Australian online education business that helps homeowners navigate renovation, building, and home design projects with greater confidence.
You'll be the primary point of contact for members, helping them stay engaged, find the right resources, and get the most value from their experience.
Working closely with a small remote team, you'll support member engagement, community moderation, Q&A operations, curriculum navigation, and the systems that keep the member experience running smoothly.
This is not a traditional customer support role. We're looking for someone who takes ownership, solves problems proactively, improves processes, and genuinely cares about helping people succeed.
About the Role
This full-time remote role combines community management, member support, operational coordination, and online course administration.
The ideal candidate is highly organised, AI-fluent, an excellent written communicator, and comfortable working independently. While architectural or technical advice remains with our specialist team, an interest in, or exposure to — architecture, construction, civil engineering, interior design, or residential building will be highly regarded.
Why This Role Is Different
- You'll play a key role in a growing and established online education business.
- You'll have genuine ownership over the member experience.
- You'll be encouraged to improve systems and recommend better ways of working.
- Your ideas and observations will be valued.
- You'll gain exposure to the renovation, building, and home design industry.
- This is a long-term opportunity with room to grow as the business evolves.
