About the Role
Apply your HR expertise in a leading mining operation while enjoying the lifestyle of Western Australia's South West. Talison Lithium, the world's leading lithium minerals producer, is seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner to join our team.
Reporting to the People Operations Superintendent, you will partner with leaders across the operation to deliver people strategies that support business performance. This influential role provides expert advice on employee and industrial relations, workforce planning, organisational change, leadership development and employee engagement, while promoting a safe, inclusive and high-performing workplace culture.
Responsibilities include
- Partner with senior leaders to deliver people strategies that support operational success
- Lead and support complex employee relations matters, investigations and workplace issues
- Coach and develop leaders in performance management, employee engagement, conduct management and change leadership
- Provide expert guidance on employment legislation, policies, awards and agreements
- Collaborate on industrial relations initiatives and workforce planning activities
- Analyse workforce data and insights to identify opportunities for improvement
- Support organisational design and change management initiatives
- Champion inclusion, wellbeing and psychological safety across the workforce
- Drive continuous improvement in HR processes, systems and employee experience initiatives
About the Candidate
You are a proactive and relationship-focused HR professional who enjoys working in a dynamic operational environment. You bring sound judgement, commercial acumen and a genuine passion for helping people and organisations succeed.
To be successful, you will have:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Industrial Relations, Business or a related discipline
- Minimum three years' experience in a Human Resources Business Partner or Senior HR Advisor role
- Strong knowledge of employment legislation, industrial relations and contemporary HR practices
- Demonstrated experience managing complex employee relations matters and workplace investigations
- Proven ability to influence, coach and build trusted relationships at all levels
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
