Senior Solution Consultant - Predictive Maintenance

Razor Labs

As a Senior Solution Consultant you lead the technical conversation from first engagement through to signed deal. Working directly with HME reliability and maintenance teams, fixed-asset engineers and operations leadership, you identify failure risks across the plant, translate them into DataMind AI predictions and outcomes, and drive the proof of value to a result.

This is a multidisciplinary pre-sales role. You are technically sharp across mining operations, comfortable discussing asset failure modes, instrumentation, data quality and system recommendations with people who run the plant every day. You do not specialize in one discipline. You connect them.

You carry the technical relationship from discovery through onboarding, and you remain the point of contact until the customer's KPIs are met.

Travel- Frequent site and customer visits across WA, QLD, SA and NSW

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead technical discovery with reliability, instrumentation, OT and operations stakeholders to define use cases, success metrics and data readiness.
  • Evaluate sensor coverage and instrumentation gaps, and recommend additions or upgrades where needed.
  • Own proof-of-value projects end to end: coordinate data-science and implementation teams, validate data quality, ingestion and signal integrity, and present results as quantified business value.
  • Build and deliver technical proposals, RFP and RFI responses, architecture diagrams and ROI cases.
  • Run tailored product demonstrations against the customer's specific assets and problems.
  • Partner with Account Executives on technical positioning and competitive strategy.
  • Produce clean technical handoff packages and support implementation and customer success until initial KPIs are met.
  • Feed Australian market and competitor insights back to Product and Engineering.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Solution Consultant with a focus on condition monitoring, reliability engineering, or predictive maintenance within mining.
  • Strong mining or heavy-industry background, hands-on rather than theoretical.
  • Comfortable across hardware and software: sensors, instrumentation and OT on one side; analytics, dashboards and AI outputs on the other.
  • Confident leading technical conversations with reliability engineers, maintenance managers and operations leadership.
  • Self-directed with a bias to action: you take ambiguity and drive a proof of value to a result.
  • Able to meet mine-site safety requirements and travel on short notice.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Pre-sales, solution consulting or professional-services experience in industrial software, with a track record converting technical evaluations into signed deals.
  • Hands-on vibration, lubrication or thermography analysis on crushers, mills, conveyors and mobile fleets.
  • Sensor selection, installation and certification knowledge.
  • Experience with industrial analytics or APM platforms such as AVEVA PRiSM, Aspen Mtell or GE APM.
  • Familiarity with fleet management or health-monitoring systems such as CAT MineStar or Modular Mining MineCare.
  • Grounding in reliability frameworks including RCM, condition-based maintenance and ISO 55000.
  • Comfort with data tools including Excel and BI dashboards; Python a plus.
  • Exposure to deploying machine-learning models or digital twins in heavy industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation or Mining Engineering.
