The Opportunity This is the perfect role for an early career HR or People Operations professional who thrives on accuracy, structure, and getting the details right.

As part of our People Operations team, you’ll play a critical role in keeping our employee experience running smoothly, owning the processes, data, and coordination that underpin every stage of the employee lifecycle.

You’ll contribute to a People Ops function that values operational excellence, continuous improvement, and smart digital ways of working—all within a fast-moving, tech-driven environment.

Please note: This is a 12-month fixed-term contract.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Be the first point of contact for People-related queries via service desk and digital channels
  • Deliver consistent, high-quality support using structured workflows, checklists, and templates
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, contracts, and documentation
  • Process employee changes and payroll inputs with precision and timeliness
  • Ensure data integrity across HR systems, identifying and correcting discrepancies
  • Work within clear policies, compliance standards, and data privacy requirements
  • Support audits and compliance activities through meticulous record-keeping and reporting
  • Provide coordination and admin support across People Operations initiatives

What You Bring

  • At least 1 year experience in HR, People Operations, administration, or a service-based role
  • A high attention to detail and pride in delivering accurate, error-free work
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to follow structured processes
  • Confidence working with systems, data, and workflows
  • Experience with HRIS, ticketing tools, or platforms like Jira/Confluence (advantageous)
  • Solid Microsoft Office skills
  • Exposure to employee lifecycle tasks (e.g. onboarding, record updates) is a plus
  • Relevant tertiary qualification (HR, Business, Psychology, etc.)—nice to have, not essential
