Health Policy & Management — AI Content Specialist

About The Role

Your public health expertise is more valuable than ever — and not just in traditional settings. At Alignerr, we partner with the world's leading AI research labs to build smarter, safer AI models. We're looking for Masters in Public Health (MPH) graduates to help us ensure that AI gets health right.

This is a rare opportunity to apply your epidemiology, biostatistics, and health policy knowledge to one of the most consequential technology challenges of our time: making sure AI systems provide accurate, evidence-based, and ethically grounded health information.

  • Organization: Alignerr
  • Type: Hourly Contract
  • Location: Remote
  • Commitment: 10–40 hours/week

What You'll Do

  • Design Complex Health Scenarios — Create advanced public health problems involving disease outbreak simulations, health equity assessments, and clinical trial data interpretation that challenge AI models at the highest level.
  • Author Ground-Truth Solutions — Write rigorous, step-by-step responses grounded in peer-reviewed research, epidemiological data, and authoritative guidelines (CDC, WHO, and more).
  • Audit AI Outputs — Evaluate AI-generated health advice and policy recommendations for accuracy, bias, and ethical alignment. Identify misinformation, logical gaps, and reasoning failures.
  • Refine AI Reasoning — Provide structured, expert feedback that helps models distinguish correlation from causation, communicate health risks clearly, and respond appropriately to diverse populations.

Who You Are

  • Holds a Masters in Public Health (MPH), Master of Science in Public Health (MSPH), or closely related graduate degree
  • Has strong foundational knowledge in at least two of: Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Environmental Health, or Health Policy
  • Can translate complex health data into clear, actionable, and culturally sensitive written content
  • Brings a high level of precision to statistical significance, data citations, and health intervention logic
  • No prior AI experience required — your domain expertise is what matters

Nice to Have

  • Experience with data annotation, quality evaluation, or research coordination
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as R, SAS, or Stata
  • Background in health communication, clinical research, or public health monitoring

Why Join Us

  • Work directly with cutting-edge Large Language Models at the frontier of AI development
  • Fully remote and flexible — work on your schedule, on your terms
  • Freelance advantages: high autonomy, variety of tasks, and global collaboration
  • Meaningful work with real-world impact on how AI handles public health information
  • Potential for ongoing contract renewals and expanded project involvement
