Educational Leader | Indooroopilly
We’re seeking a passionate and experienced Educational Leader to join our 54‑place Indooroopilly centre and play a key role in shaping high‑quality practice across the service.
About the Role
As Educational Leader, you’ll work closely with the Centre Manager and team to guide pedagogy, support reflective practice, and build educator capability. This is a hands‑on leadership role where you’ll mentor educators, support programming, and help create meaningful learning experiences for children.
You’ll be a visible and trusted leader—someone educators turn to for guidance, support, and confidence in their everyday practice.
Key Responsibilities
Leading and embedding high-quality pedagogical practice across the centre
Mentoring and coaching educators in programming, planning, and documentation
Supporting reflective practice aligned to the EYLF and NQS
Modelling best practice through active involvement on the floor
Building educator confidence, capability, and consistency
Working collaboratively with the Centre Manager to uplift educational quality
About You
You’re a natural leader who’s committed to supporting others. You bring a warm, collaborative approach and a genuine passion for early learning.
Diploma or Bachelor level Early Childhood Education and Care qualification
Strong understanding of pedagogy, programming, and the EYLF
Previous experience as an Educational Leader (highly regarded)
Confidence mentoring and supporting educators at different stages of their journey
A warm, approachable leadership style grounded in trust and respect
