Remuneration: $79,368.82 - $111,427.33 per annum / $40.02 - $56.19 per hour

Hours Per Week: 38 (Job share may be considered for part time hours)

What you'll be doing

As a Registered Nurse, you will provide high quality, individualised patient care to maximise health outcomes while working collaboratively with patients, families and the multidisciplinary team.

  • Deliver safe, effective and person centred nursing care to patients and their families or carers
  • Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care to achieve optimal patient outcomes
  • Coordinate referrals and discharge planning to support continuity of care
  • Supervise, mentor and support staff and students as required
  • Respond to changing patient needs and effectively prioritise care within a busy clinical environment

Essential Criteria

  • Current Registration as a Registered Nurse with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)

Selection Criteria

  • Demonstrated recent clinical experience in critical care nursing in an acute care facility

  • Demonstrated application of evidence based practice and critical thinking to patient care

  • Demonstrated ability to lead, supervise, delegate, and negotiate with others to deliver quality nursing care

  • Demonstrated effective clinical communication through the use of information technology, written and verbal means, and sound interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate with a diverse range of people.
