Enrolled Nurse - Community Care

We have a casual opportunity available for Enrolled Nurses supporting our clients within the Rockhampton region.

Your Role

As an Enrolled Nurse you’ll be looking after the most important people in our organisation – our clients. You will support the delivery of high-quality, client-centred care across all age groups within the community, assisting with a range of clinical needs including wound care, medication administration and chronic disease management. Working under the guidance of a Registered Nurse, your tasks will include:

  • Supporting assessment of client needs and implementation of ongoing care in line with care plans

  • Providing excellent care and service to clients in accordance with their personalised care plans

  • Assisting with clinical tasks including medication administration, wound care and routine observations

  • Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal care outcomes

  • Maintaining accurate and timely documentation in line with professional and organisational standards

  • Liaising with clients, families and stakeholders to support continuity of care

Role Requirements

  • Proof of immunity, or willingness to become vaccinated against, Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR), Varicella (Chicken Pox) and Pertussis (Whooping Cough)

  • Current National Police Check (with validity in the past 3 years)

  • Current (P) PAID NDIS Worker Clearance

  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)

  • Current Queensland driver’s licence

  • Current CPR Certificate

  • Good computer and mobile device skills
