An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced General Foreperson to join a well-established development and construction group with a long-standing presence across the Sunshine Coast and now the Fraser Coast region.

Walter Iezzi Property Group and Walter Iezzi Building Group have been delivering high-quality residential and mixed-use developments for over 30 years. Known for our hands-on approach, strong project outcomes and commitment to quality, we are seeking a motivated and experienced General Foreperson to assist in the delivery of a landmark multi-residential development on the Fraser Coast.

About the Role

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day supervision and coordination of site operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.

You will be responsible for coordinating trades, monitoring programme requirements, maintaining site standards and assisting in the successful delivery of an 8-storey multi-residential development.

This role is a site-based role on the Fraser Coast.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily site activities and coordinate subcontractors and trades
• Demonstrated experience delivering mid to high-rise apartment developments (5+ storeys) and large-scale multi-residential projects from structure through to completion
• Assist in implementing and maintaining the construction programme
• Monitor site productivity and ensure works are completed efficiently
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and quality control
• Coordinate site logistics, deliveries and material management
• Ensure compliance with all WHS, environmental and company procedures
• Conduct site inspections and proactively identify potential issues
• Assist with defect management and quality assurance processes
• Maintain accurate site records, diaries and reporting
• Liaise effectively with subcontractors, consultants and project stakeholders
• Foster a positive site culture focused on safety, teamwork and performance
• Assist the Project Manager and Site Manager in achieving project milestones and deadlines

Skills & Experience

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• Proven experience as a General Foreperson, Leading Hand or Senior Supervisor on multi-residential, commercial or large-scale construction projects
• Experience managing projects with values between $15M-$30M from start to finish
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing and site coordination
• Experience managing subcontractors and multiple trades on active construction sites
• Demonstrated leadership and communication skills
• Sound knowledge of WHS requirements and site safety practices
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
• Trade qualification in Carpentry or a related building trade (highly regarded)
• Construction White Card
• Current Driver's Licence
• Full Australian working rights

The Position

• Full-time role based on the Fraser Coast
• Site-based Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays as required
• Immediate start available
