Client Services Assistant - Residential Care

Ozcare has 3 Casual positions available for Client Services Assistants - supporting our clients at our beautiful Hervey Bay Aged Care Facility.

These will be dual positions that will involve recurrent shifts as Cleaners, and Kitchen Hands.

Your Role

Client Services Duties

• As a Client Services Assistant you'll be looking after the most important people in our organisation - our clients. Your tasks will include:
• Assist with the preparation of meals by performing tasks allocated by the Cook (where applicable)
• Efficiently clean Dining Room, Kitchen and serving areas after meals, or when required
• Perform tasks associated with the provision of laundry services
• Perform tasks associated with cleaning of the Facility with particular emphasis on areas where Workplace Health & Safety matters often arise toilets, floors etc.

Role Requirements

• Be vaccinated against Influenza & at least 1 dose of Covid-19 vaccine
• Certificate III in Commercial Cooking is desirable
• Demonstrated experience working in an aged care kitchen environment.
• Current Police Screening Certificate (valid within the last 3 years)
• Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (where applicable)
• Demonstrated previous cooking experience for large groups would be an advantage
• Current First Aid & CPR Certificates
