Technical Services Veterinarian - ANZ

Job Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for development and implementation of customer engagement programs for the farm animal veterinary segment - ANZ. This position will report to the Regional Head of Sales and Marketing - ANZ and interface routinely with Sales, R&D, Customer Service, Regulatory, Technical Services, and Corporate Senior Management.

Essential Tasks/Activities

· Provide professional technical support for farm & companion animal product sales and marketing activities

· Respond to technical inquiries and provide product information to veterinary practices

· Support Territory Managers

· Support pharmacovigilance systems to satisfy regulatory requirements including reporting adverse events and quality complaints

· Provide technical training and support for internal and external customers

· Develop and maintain close relationships with key opinion leaders within the industry

· Participate in strategy meetings with other technical, sales, and marketing staff to assist in the development of marketing plans and to optimize opportunities for product growth

· Represent the company at national and local veterinary industry meetings

· Represent the company at customer meetings

· Provide input on new product development

· Contribute to the technical accuracy of marketing materials, data sheets

· Keep updated on market changes

Essential Criteria

· Licensed veterinarian

· Minimum 3 years’ experience in veterinary practice. Practice management/ownership desirable

· Excellent oral, written and presentation skills

· Ability to develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders

· Fluency with Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and other Microsoft Office platforms preferred

· Ability to travel within Australia and to New Zealand up to 25%
