Senior Compliance Specialist, Disclosures

A leading Australian superannuation fund is seeking a Disclosure Compliance Specialist for a newly created role within its Member Strategy & Performance division.

The position sits at the heart of member communications, disclosure governance, and regulatory compliance, ensuring member-facing information is clear, accurate, and compliant with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and approve Product Disclosure Statements (PDS), annual statements, reports and other regulatory disclosure documents in accordance with established due diligence frameworks.
  • Provide compliance oversight and advisory support across marketing campaigns, digital content and member communications.
  • Ensure consistency and alignment between disclosure documentation and member-facing communications.
  • Manage document governance processes including approvals, version control and compliance tracking.
  • Monitor and interpret regulatory developments, ensuring changes are effectively embedded into disclosure and communication practices.
  • Partner with legal, risk and business stakeholders on complex disclosure and compliance matters.
  • Contribute to broader governance, risk and transformation initiatives across the member division.

About You

You are a technically strong compliance professional who combines deep regulatory knowledge with a collaborative and commercially minded approach.

You Will Bring

  • Experience within superannuation or financial services compliance, ideally with exposure to disclosure and marketing review.
  • Demonstrated experience reviewing and approving customer or member-facing communications.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian superannuation legislation, regulatory requirements and disclosure obligations.
  • A background in compliance, risk, governance or legal functions. Legal qualifications are advantageous but not essential.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to influence a broad range of stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical capability and attention to detail, with the ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into practical guidance.
  • The ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment experiencing ongoing regulatory and business change.
