We're working exclusively with a high-growth boutique financial services firm based in Melbourne's CBD to identify a seasoned fiduciary and fund governance specialist ready to step into a pivotal platform leadership role.

About the Client

Our client is a specialist financial solutions business serving sophisticated wholesale, commercial, and institutional investors across multiple asset classes. With a strong governance ethos and a growing book of institutional mandates, they are at an exciting inflection point — scaling their existing fiduciary capabilities and standing up a new fund oversight function. The person who takes this seat will have genuine influence over the direction of the business.

The Opportunity

• Own the end-to-end buildout of a fund oversight and fiduciary services function, with full P&L visibility and direct access to the executive team
• Oversee scheme-level governance, regulatory adherence, and licensing obligations across a diversified client base
• Cultivate and deepen relationships with fund operators, capital allocators, custodians, and professional advisers
• Build and lead a high-performing team as the function scales

What You Bring

• A background in fund oversight, fiduciary governance, or managed scheme administration within an AFSL-regulated environment
• Prior experience guiding teams and managing senior stakeholder relationships
• Commercial instincts paired with sound regulatory judgement
• Relevant professional credentials — accounting, legal, or investment management background preferred
