Network Test & Validation Engineer
FemEdge Solutions
There is a gap between a network design that looks right and one that actually works. Your job is to close it.
We are looking for an engineer with at least 2 years of hands-on experience in IP networking who is ready to take on more. Someone who has spent time in the lab, understands what BGP and MPLS actually do under pressure, and wants to work on projects where the quality of your testing directly determines whether a deployment succeeds or fails.
This is not a monitoring role. You will be configuring, testing and validating real network solutions on Cisco and Juniper platforms before they go anywhere near a production environment. You will work alongside experienced engineers, contribute to documentation and test plans that others depend on, and gradually take on more ownership as your confidence grows.
You are probably the right fit if you have a degree in networking or engineering, at least 2 years of hands-on experience with IP protocols, and the kind of mindset that makes you want to understand why something failed, not just that it did. Exposure to DHCP, DNS and Syslog environments helps. Familiarity with testing tools like Wireshark or TCPdump is a bonus. Progress toward CCNP or JNCIS is a plus but not the deciding factor. We are more interested in how you think than what is on your certificate wall.
Sydney based. If you are ready to do work that actually challenges you, apply now or send your resume directly to ***email_hidden***.
