The Role

We are seeking a Senior Security Architect to join a small, high-performing team of consultants who operate at the top of their field. You will be embedded across multiple large enterprise engagements simultaneously, advising CISOs, architecture boards, and executive stakeholders on complex security challenges.

This is a consulting role - meaning every engagement is different, every client has a unique risk landscape, and you will need to draw on a broad and deep well of security architecture experience to deliver outcomes that genuinely move the needle.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and delivery of security strategy, architecture, and design engagements for large enterprise clients across financial services, government, and critical infrastructure.
• Produce high-quality security architecture artefacts - including patterns, reference architectures, HLD/LLD, and roadmaps.
• Define and document security requirements for complex project initiatives, translating risk appetite and regulatory obligations into actionable architecture guidance.
• Assume solution architecture responsibilities within project teams, working collaboratively with enterprise architects, engineering teams, and security operations.
• Track and assess emerging threats, technologies, and industry trends - distilling relevance for client security postures.
• Manage and influence stakeholder relationships across all levels, from technical SMEs to C-suite and board-level audiences.
• Communicate security risk clearly and persuasively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Experience Required

• 8+ years of security architecture or security consulting experience, with a significant portion spent in large enterprise environments.
• Demonstrable end-to-end security architecture capability: requirements definition, detailed design, implementation guidance, and assurance.
• Deep, broad knowledge across multiple information security domains - you are not a one-trick specialist.
• Hands-on technical credibility - you have built and designed real things, not just advised on them. With cloud - AWS and/or Azure
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; you can write a board paper and run a technical design session on the same day.
