About the role
We are seeking a Solicitor (2-4 years PQE) with a litigation background, to join our leading Dispute Resolution team in Perth. Working under the guidance of Partner James Wang, this is an excellent opportunity to progress your career within a top-tier firm, working on high profile matters in a friendly and supportive team environment. Be involved in undertaking advisory work and conducting litigation in relation to shareholder and Board disputes, director/officer duties disputes, property disputes, general corporate disputes, complex contractual disputes, environmental and heritage investigations and prosecutions, schemes of arrangement and defamation matters.
You will have
- Excellent analytical, communication and research skills - to contribute to the delivery of prompt and commercially astute advice.
- First rate experience of drafting documents (including pleadings, submissions, witness statements, affidavits etc).
- Experience in litigation, assisting clients in the resolution of complex disputes (through contested or negotiated processes).
- Strong commitment to client service and well-developed relationship management ability - you will play a role in supporting and actively developing our relationships with clients.
- Team focus and the ability facilitate effective teamwork by developing strong internal relationships.
- A willingness to embrace new technologies, including AI enabled legal tools, as part of your ongoing professional development.
