Core Talent are currently partnered with a national electrical contarctor based out of Brisbane. With a strong pipeline of large-scale developments for 2026, they are seeking an Electrical Project Director to lead high-value projects from pre-construction through to commissioning and handover.

The Role

As Project Director you will be responsible for the full life cycle management of major electrical packages, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage large-scale electrical projects ($50M+ preferred)
• Oversee project planning, procurement, scheduling, and delivery
• Manage project teams including Project Managers, Site Managers & Supervisors
• Maintain strong relationships with builders, consultants, and stakeholders
• Drive commercial performance, cost control, and forecasting
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards
• Identify and manage risk across all project stages
• Contribute to strategic planning and business growth initiatives

About You

• 8+ years’ experience in electrical project management / Senior Leadership
• Demonstrated delivery of large-scale commercial, healthcare, Infrastructure or Industrial Project
• Experience leading projects through the full life cycle.
• Strong financial and contractual management capability
• Experience managing multidisciplinary coordination
• Excellent stakeholder and client management skills
• Relevant electrical trade or engineering qualifications
• leadership and team development capability
