The People and Culture team provides support to ensure EDQ attracts, develops, and retains expert, collaborative, and high-performing people to enable a high-performance culture that drives service excellence and delivers on our strategic priorities.

What you can expect in this role

You are responsible for delivering quality human resource services in response to the operational needs of EDQ. The role will contribute to the delivery of human resource strategies and services – helping to build and maintain a high-performance culture for the EDQ.

Some Of Your Responsibilities Will Include

  • Monitor the EDQ HR shared inbox and where appropriate, prioritise and allocate emails to other team members, with a strong understanding of the importance of maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Provide support to the People and Culture team to provide sound HR advice and guidance to EDQ staff in respect to the interpretation and application of relevant legislation, directives and policies and procedures.
  • Continually develop and maintain a professional knowledge and understanding of HR policies, procedures and guidelines and a sound knowledge of (i.e. awards, certified agreements), to ensure accurate HR advice and guidance is provided to our leaders.
  • Maintain accurate records of workforce and governance requirements, including mandatory training, individual performance agreement compliance reporting, and the organisational chart, while providing regular weekly updates to internal stakeholders.
  • Work collaboratively within the People and Culture team to coordinate and support pre-recruitment and recruitment and selection processes.
  • Provide support and assistance in planning and coordinating team initiatives, culture group activities, and team projects to foster a positive and collaborative workplace environment.
  • Support the People and Culture team to liaise and consult with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders in the delivery of human resource services, managing conflicting priorities within tight timeframes, resolving issues and ensuring outcomes are fit for purpose.
