The opportunity

This newly created Safety Coordinator role has been established to support the continued growth and maturity of the organisation's safety function. Reporting directly to the Safety Manager, you will work across a diverse portfolio of civil construction projects, transport operations, maintenance workshops and corporate environments, helping strengthen the systems and processes that support safe and compliant operations.

This role offers a unique opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in safety while gaining exposure well beyond a traditional project environment. You will contribute to safety improvement initiatives, support operational leaders, assist with compliance and audit activities and play a key role in the rollout of a new technology platform designed to enhance safety performance across the business.

This is a permanent full-time opportunity based from the Ipswich head office with regular exposure to operational sites and facilities across Queensland. Desired skills and experience

You may currently be working as a Safety Coordinator, Safety Administrator, Compliance Coordinator or within a similar support role and are looking for an opportunity that offers broader exposure and greater influence.

A Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety is essential, along with a genuine passion for safety and operational excellence. Experience within construction, civil infrastructure, transport, logistics, maintenance or operational environments will be highly regarded.

Exposure to audits, investigations, reporting, compliance activities and risk management processes will also be beneficial. You will be someone who communicates well, takes ownership of your work and enjoys working as part of a team focused on achieving practical outcomes.
