Purpose of the Role

The purpose of this role is to lead and drive national performance across Workforce Australia and Transition to Work contracts.

Performance in this role will be measured against the successful outcomes and performance data, per month.

Key responsibilities

• Lead national performance and service delivery across Workforce Australia (WFA) and Transition to Work (TTW) contracts to achieve high-performance outcomes
• Drive regional and branch performance through leadership, coaching and accountability of the Regional Management Team
• Oversee national business development, vacancy sourcing and placement activity to maximise employment outcomes
• Manage placement-to-outcome conversion performance to improve retention and outcomes
• Lead staff capability development through coaching, training and progression planning
• Partner with Regional Managers to deliver activities and programs aligned to operational and requirements

The role reports directly to the National Operations Manager, with 4 direct reports; State Manager, Regional Manager (x2) and National Activities Manager.

Key experience needed

• Deep understanding of Employment Services, Recruitment or Training Industries.
• Previous experience working to contract regulations and guidelines
• Leadership at multiple levels, from front-line to C-suite executives
• Strategy plan development and delivery
• Multi-state management and working with remote staff
