About the Role
Concord Repatriation General Hospital has a well-earned reputation for excellence in healthcare for over 70 years. Building on its proud heritage of caring for the Veteran community, the hospital now services the local communities of Concord, Strathfield, Burwood and beyond.
Provide advanced specialist nutrition and dietetic services for inpatients and outpatients with Diabetes and Obesity. The position delivers high level clinical care, works within multidisciplinary teams and leads service development to improve patient outcomes and experience. The role also provides senior clinical leadership within Dietetics, actively involved in supervision, teaching of staff and students.

Ideal Candidate
- Must hold a Bachelor or post graduate degree in Nutrition and Dietetics that allows eligibility for full membership of the Dietitians Association of Australia.
- Demonstrated advanced clinical knowledge, skill and significant clinical experience in the nutritional management of diabetes, including diabetes technology; and demonstrated understanding of nutritional management of obesity including bariatric surgery and pharmacotherapy.
- Extensive experience and demonstrated ability in building and maintaining professional and therapeutic relationships through the application of written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
