We are thrilled to be partnering with a leading mid-market investment firm in their search for an associate/senior associate to join their investment team in Melbourne. They partner with founders and owner-operators of growing Australian and New Zealand businesses and are backed by long-term capital from prominent Australian families and entrepreneurs. The firm provides growth capital, strategic support and operational expertise to help management teams scale their businesses and are known for their hands-on, partnership-oriented approach to value creation.

This is a broad role with exposure across the full investment lifecycle—origination, execution, and portfolio support—within a collaborative, high-performance environment.

This role will include sourcing and assessing new investment opportunities, building and owning bottom-up financial models and investment analysis, supporting transaction execution and due diligence, working closely with portfolio company management teams and driving value-creation and portfolio initiatives

We are seeking candidates with 2–4+ years in PE, IB, M&A, consulting, or investing. You will have strong financial modelling and commercial judgement, be proactive, curious, and comfortable taking ownership and a strong communicator who enjoys working with founders
