At Residenz, we help older Australians remain safe and independent in their own homes. Our Home Maintenance Specialists play a vital role in supporting that independence.

For many clients, your visit is more than maintenance. It’s reliability, trust, and connection.

The role

Helping elderly people stay independent in their own homes in the Newcastle and Medowie area .

The duties that you will be completing include:

Lawn mowing & gardening
Pressure washing
Window cleaning
General home maintenance
Minor handyman tasks (desirable but not essential)

You’ll work with regular clients, building rapport and trust.

The role is a perfect fit for you if you:

Enjoy hands-on outdoor work
Take pride in quality results
Are punctual and reliable
Have great communication skills
Want meaningful work without weekend commitments
Have gardening and handyman experience
Are well organised and punctual
Have a current Australian Driver’s License and their own vehicle
Have a current police check (or willing to obtain)
Have a current NDIS check (or willing to obtain)
Have a vehicle with a tow ball.

All travel with trailer paid at $0.99 per km
