Role

Liverpool Hospital Operating Theatres is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Nursing Unit Manager Level 1 – Clinical Co-ordinator. This is a Part Time position with afternoon shifts on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. In this role you will:

  • Provide guidance and support to ensure the smooth running of the Operating Theatre
  • Lead and collaborate within a dynamic and innovative multidisciplinary team
  • Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders across Perioperative Services and Hospital executive
  • Monitor and review Theatre and emergency lists to ensure key performance indicators are met
  • Take responsibility for operational processes and clinical outcomes, driving continuous improvement and high-quality care

Liverpool Hospital Operating Theatres is seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional with strong leadership capability and a proven background in perioperative services.

  • Senior experience within an Operating Theatre, including leading staff and coordinating theatre activities
  • Proven experience in a perioperative and theatre setting with strong organisational skills and an approachable manner
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and in close consultation with various stakeholders
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal, with experience using Surginet, eMR, PAS and PowerChart
  • Ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and work professionally while effectively managing conflict
