About the role

This role sits at the heart of our innovation pipeline, helping turn ideas into commercially successful products across core rice, convenience and snacking categories. This is a 13-month fixed term contract opportunity.

As the Marketing Coordinator – Rice Innovation, you’ll partner closely with Marketing, R&D, Insights and external agencies to bring new concepts to life - from early-stage ideation through to launch. You’ll play a hands-on role in shaping products that meet evolving consumer needs, while ensuring projects stay on track and deliver real impact.

Key responsibilities will include

Coordinating innovation projects from concept through to launch across the Rice portfolio

Supporting ideation and concept development, working with insights, trends and consumer data

Partnering closely with R&D, Sales, Supply Chain and Quality to progress new product development

Working with external agencies and suppliers on briefs, creative development, packaging and campaign assets

Ensuring strong project governance through timelines, trackers and stage gate processes

Supporting development of business cases, presentations and launch materials

Assisting with consumer and category insights to identify innovation opportunities

Coordinating samples, artwork, approvals and launch readiness activity

Supporting post-launch reviews and continuous improvement of innovation processes

About You

You’re a proactive, curious and highly organised marketer who brings energy and a passion for innovation. You love working across teams and aren’t afraid to take ownership to keep things moving.

You will bring

Minimum 1–3 years’ experience in marketing, innovation or project coordination - ideally within FMCG or food

A genuine passion for innovation, new product development and consumer-led thinking

Experience working with or exposure to agencies, insights or R&D teams

Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Excellent stakeholder communication and collaboration skills

A hands-on, can-do attitude with a drive to deliver outcomes

High attention to detail and strong follow-through

Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Business or a related discipline
