We’re on the lookout for a Payroll Supervisor to lead the delivery of accurate, compliant and timely payroll across our business. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in maintaining payroll governance, supporting key stakeholders and driving continuous improvement across payroll processes. You’ll also lead and develop a high-performing payroll team, ensuring a strong focus on service and excellence. This is an initial fixed-term opportunity for 12 months.

What You Can Expect On a Day-to-day Basis

  • Managing end-to-end payroll across weekly and semi-monthly cycles
  • Ensuring compliance with Australian payroll legislation and regulatory requirements
  • Maintaining robust governance, controls and audit processes
  • Leading and developing the payroll team
  • Partnering with HR, Finance and stakeholders to deliver payroll outcomes
  • Managing escalations and complex payroll queries
  • Overseeing reporting, reconciliations and statutory obligations
  • Driving process improvements and system efficiencies

Your Keys To Success

  • Proven payroll leadership experience in a complex environment
  • Strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Experience improving processes and driving operational efficiency
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Exposure to the Fast Food Industry Award (highly regarded)
