The Role

This is a leadership opportunity where you will lead the VIC Technical Services team to ensure key program and network commitments are met. You will be charged to foster effective teamwork, communications, and change management to build a positive work culture promoting the Technology team's vision.

The Role Will Also Involve

  • Preparing job plans, providing regular feedback to staff on their performance, and conduct staff appraisals in a timely manner as well as identifying and actioning training and development needs.
  • Developing collaborative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Taking ownership of State and National Broadcast Support issues and technical operations. Manage support escalation in accordance with defined national procedures.
  • Establishing and enhancing relationships with clients to ensure service obligations are met or exceeded. Manage client expectations for beneficial outcomes.

About You

You have strong leadership skills and outstanding interpersonal skills and behaviours. You will have a proven and highly developed understanding of the direction of technical innovation and its application in the broadcast industry.

You Will Also Have Demonstrated The Following

  • Expert knowledge and experience in the provision of most complex technical support, maintenance, operations and/or project management in a broadcast technology environment.
  • High level communication and negotiation skills with a strong client focus and a thorough understanding of creative, operational and technical areas.
  • Highly developed leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Expert planning, organisational, financial, and resource management skills.
