Senior Product Manager - Business Transaction Banking

Business+ is a digital-first business banking proposition designed for Australian businesses that value simplicity, speed and convenience.

As Business+ continues to scale, we’re looking for a Senior Manager, Transaction Banking to lead the strategy, performance and commercial outcomes of our transaction banking portfolio, including transaction accounts, savings accounts, term deposits, merchant services and future transaction banking capabilities.

You will own both the build and run of the portfolio, shaping future product capability while being accountable for pricing, margins, customer engagement, retention, product adoption and overall commercial performance. A key part of the role is evolving the Business+ customer value proposition, balancing immediate commercial performance with strategic investment decisions, and identifying the highest-return opportunities to enhance customer outcomes, strengthen competitive differentiation and support long-term growth.

You’ll make an impact by:

  • Owning the strategy, roadmap and performance of the Business+ transaction banking portfolio
  • Managing the end-to-end product lifecycle across transaction accounts, savings accounts, term deposits, merchant services and future transaction banking capabilities
  • Developing and evolving the customer value proposition across deposits, merchant services and other value-added capabilities
  • Owning pricing, margins, profitability and portfolio economics
  • Identifying and prioritising the highest-return product and capability investments
  • Monitoring product performance and improving customer engagement, retention and product adoption
  • Developing business cases and strategic recommendations for future product investment
  • Partnering with Growth, Digital, Operations and Technology teams to deliver customer and commercial outcomes
  • Working closely with platform and technology partners to optimise and evolve the proposition
  • Ensuring products operate within approved risk, compliance and regulatory frameworks

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • 7+ years’ product management experience across transaction banking, deposits, payments, merchant services or related banking products
  • Strong commercial capability, including experience managing pricing, profitability and portfolio economics
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute product strategy
  • Strong understanding of customer needs, transaction banking economics and competitive positioning
  • Experience balancing customer outcomes, commercial objectives and regulatory requirements
  • Strong analytical, stakeholder management and influencing capability
  • Experience operating in platform, fintech or partner-led environments will be highly regarded
