Project Manager | Fitout

We’re working with a well-established WA commercial construction contractor specialising in fitout and refurbishment projects across Perth Metro, who are seeking an experienced

Project Manager to join their growing Fitout delivery team.

This business is known for delivering high-quality projects across commercial, government, education, healthcare and hospitality sectors, with a strong pipeline of work ranging from small works through to $10M projects.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being close to delivery, working across multiple live projects, and taking ownership of the commercial and subcontractor side of project delivery.

About The Role

As a Project Manager, you will take full responsibility for the successful delivery of multiple fitout and refurbishment projects concurrently, working closely with Contract Administrators, Site Managers and subcontractors.

You will oversee projects from pre-start through to completion and handover, ensuring strong commercial outcomes, programme certainty, and high-quality delivery standards.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-end project delivery across commercial fitout and refurbishment projects
• Lead project teams including Site Managers, Contract Administrators and subcontractors
• Oversee programming, sequencing and construction methodology
• Manage project budgets, cost control and financial performance
• Oversee procurement strategy and subcontractor engagement
• Manage client relationships, reporting and stakeholder communication
• Drive variations, contract administration and commercial negotiations
• Ensure WHS compliance, quality assurance and site standards are maintained
• Manage project risk and proactively resolve delivery issues
• Lead project handover, defect resolution and close-out processes

About You

• Proven experience as a Project Manager in commercial construction
• Strong background in fitout and/or refurbishment projects
• Experience working with a head contractor (Tier 1, Tier 2 or strong Tier 3)
• Strong commercial acumen with solid understanding of cost control and contracts
• Confident leading site-based teams and managing multiple stakeholders
• Strong programming, coordination and delivery capability
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Proactive, solutions-focused and delivery-driven mindset
