We are seeking a motivated and experienced Field Service Technician to join our team in Richlands. This hands-on role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in the field, solving problems, and delivering high-quality hydraulic services to a diverse customer base.

You will be part of a supportive team environment while also having the autonomy to manage your own day on-site with customers.

Your Tasks

Attend customer sites to carry out hydraulic troubleshooting, repairs, and installations
Perform breakdown maintenance on mechanical and hydraulic equipment
Conduct fault finding and diagnostics on hydraulic systems and components
Prepare detailed strip and inspect reports, including measurements and parts identification
Carry out portable machining and welding as required
Measure, test, and inspect components to ensure compliance with specifications
Build strong working relationships with customers through professional service delivery

About You

Trade qualified (Fitter / Hydraulics or similar)
Strong experience with hydraulic systems, components, and cylinder repairs
Proven ability in strip & inspect reporting
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Current driver’s licence
Strong commitment to workplace health & safety
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in the field
Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude
