About You
The Head of Demand Generation (Sydney / Adelaide / Melbourne) is responsible for all of splose’s Digital Marketing including channel strategy, execution, budgets and outcomes. As the leader in that space you will be responsible for developing and executing our Digital Marketing strategy, help us grow our technical and human capability, and working collaboratively across the organisation to make sure we hit our strategic and growth targets.
We are looking for someone who can help us build out our capabilities and accelerate our growth across our ANZ and international markets. splose is defining the Practice Management Software space, and this role would suit someone who loves to work in great teams, who thinks long term, and who wants to build a legacy at one of Australia’s fastest-growing tech companies.
This role requires a tenacious, hands-on leader who can collaborate across a wide stakeholder set to get things done. We’re looking for someone adaptable who is capable of moving between the strategic parts of the role and getting their hands dirty with execution if needed.
What You'll Do
- Execution: own and be responsible for the performance of our digital marketing activities across all regions. This means ensuring we hit both our New Business and ROI goals, proactively identify and resolve potential blockers, and make sure we have the right levels of capacity and capability to hit current and future goals.
- Strategy: develop and implement yearly / quarterly digital channel strategies. Successfully identify and manage dependencies and risks so that we can achieve sustainable growth. Ensuring the acquisition strategy is scalable, forward-thinking (ie: where do we want to be in 18-24 months) & capable of driving high-quality new business pipeline for splose is paramount.
- Collaboration: working closely alongside internal stakeholders like Sales, Product and CS is vital for success in this role. Additionally, this role is responsible for managing our ecosystem of Digital suppliers, agencies and consultants.
- Improvement & Ops: Build out best in class marketing processes that can scale and fuel growth and increase ROI. Lead annual and quarterly planning, track budgets, and report on marketing initiatives’ performance, with a focus on ROI and revenue growth.
What You'll Bring
- 8+ years experience in Digital Marketing at high-growth SaaS companies or agencies, including 5+ years leading a team.
- Experience managing a multi-market (ie: international) marketing execution. In particular: experience running campaigns into the UK and USA.
- Exceptional stakeholder and communication skills management, and confidence presenting to and working with C-Level leadership.
- Demonstrable results of planning and executing on of a long-term, economically sustainable, and multi-channel marketing motion. Key channels and activities include performance media, content, SEO and customer journey.
- Strong level of experience using key tools and publishers, eg: Google Ads, Facebook, LinkedIn, Google Analytics, etc
- Experience with audience management / user journey orchestration / ABM (one to few).
- Strong analytical approach and capability. Ability to use a data-driven, quantitative approach to develop, track and manage to agreed business outcomes.
- Experience with forecasting and budgeting across a multi-channel and cross-regional acquisition stack.
- Experience with organisation planning, recruitment, and building out a high-performing and highly engaged team.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, ambiguous, and entrepreneurial environment.
