About The Role

WorkPac is seeking a Payroll Officer to join our client in their Adelaide office. In this role you will assist with payroll data entry, including processing new starters, personal data changes, master data changes, superannuation, deductions, tax, transfers, and terminations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process pay files and support payroll-related activities
  • Accurately enter master data and timesheet information
  • Resolve complex payroll issues with professionalism
  • Escalate specialised queries appropriately
  • Contribute to a collaborative and target-driven team

Skills And Experience Required

  • Experience in payroll or similar high-volume admin role
  • Experience in a similar role beneficial
  • Background in customer service
  • Resilience in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
  • Knowledge of Chris21 (desirable) & Valeo
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Outlook, and Word
  • Accurate data entry skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Demonstrated reliability and time management skills
  • National Police Clearance (mandatory)
