About The Role

What if your voice could directly shape how AI understands the way Australians talk? We're looking for professional voice actors and voice-over artists with authentic Australian English accents to record natural conversational speech for leading AI research teams.

This is a paid contract role involving a small number of in-person studio recording sessions. Your voice won't be cloned — it will be used to help AI systems better understand real, human Australian speech.

What You'll Do

• Record natural, conversational Australian English speech in a professional studio environment
• Participate in single-speaker sessions and dual-speaker dialogue recordings
• Deliver realistic, human-sounding speech that feels unscripted and natural
• Follow light direction on tone, pacing, and delivery to capture a range of speech styles
• Bring your craft to a project that genuinely advances the state of AI

Who You Are

• A professional voice actor or voice-over artist with hands-on recording experience
• A native or near-native Australian English speaker with a genuine, authentic accent
• Currently based in Australia
• Comfortable performing natural, conversational dialogue — not just scripted reads
• Reliable, professional, and receptive to direction in a studio setting
• Fluent in English at a working communication level

Nice to Have

• Acting or performance background
• Experience in broadcast, podcasting, or professional studio recording
• Comfort with both solo performance and dialogue-based conversation recording
